Spongebob shouldn't work as well as a musical as it does. Honestly it's filled with bangers and the plot is fun! Ethan Slater is literally the human embodiment of Spongebob, it's uncanny. The whole cast brings to life all of these beloved characters to the stage perfectly. As it's a show primarily aimed at families and younger kids, it provides a good message of friendship and listening to others. The live version is fabulous to watch, the set design is SO SO GOOD!
