assassins

An interesting premise and I love Sondheim but this wasn't for me. Honourary mention of the lyrics: "Damn you Lincoln you righteous whore!" I didn't really know what to expect but it is people singing about assassinations so I guess it what it says on the tin. The songs are more traditional "patriotic" music which makes sense to the musical but I don't really like to listen to it. Sorry Sondheim, this was a miss for me!
