I saw Anything Goes in 2022 and while it's fairly enjoyable, it's not my favourite musical in the world. The plot is good but not that gripping ALTHOUGH I do love that it's set on a cruise ship as it makes for a wonderful set design and sets it apart from other shows. It's a classic musical which provides some great songs (and some not so great ones) but you can't deny that It's De Lovely and Anything Goes are anything short of fantastic. It was about .2 seconds after I finished listening to this cast recording did I remember there was a proshot with Sutton Foster in this role, leading me to kick myself.
Oh well! - next time.
